On March 9, 2021, the meeting of the Warsaw Pack Programme Board took place at the headquarters of the Polish Chamber of Packaging.

The organizer of the International Packaging Technology and Packaging Fair, represented by: Mr. Dariusz Drąg – Development Director, Mrs. Agnieszka Dąbkowska and Mr. Dawid Zakrzewski, met with: President of the Polish Chamber of Packaging, full prof. dr hab. Eng. Stanisław Tkaczyk and representatives of the Łukasiewicz Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibers: Director of the Institute – Radosław Dziuba PhD,  COBRO Branch Director Monika Kaczmarczyk EngD. and Beata Górska M.Eng.

During the meeting, issues related to the organization of the 6th edition of the Warsaw Pack fair, which will take place on April 8-10, 2025. The main topics of the talks were innovations in plastic packaging, sources of financing and opportunities related to entering the international market. One of the topics discussed was also the thematic scope of the Congress accompanying the fair, within which, as it was agreed – 6 topics will be prepared by the Polish Chamber of Packaging and COBRO Research Institute, which will also take an active part in promoting the event. Rekopol company will be the organizer and host of the second day of the “Closed-loop packaging” conference.

Part of the meeting was to discuss the rules of the INNOVATIVE PACKAGING competition. As a result, it was agreed that the first two products will be awarded in the plebiscite, and the prize will be a stand at the fair organized by PTAK WARSAW EXPO. The award will be presented at the opening of the Warsaw Pack fair.

An important point of the meeting was also the explanation of the rules of sanitary safety during the fair. The basis for the discussion were the standards used during last year’s edition of the Warsaw Dental Medica Show. The Fair and Congress of Dentistry and Aesthetic Medicine at Ptak Warsaw Expo were conducted in an exemplary manner. Above-standard measures were applied to increase the level of sanitary safety. At each entrance there were disinfecting cabins with automatic temperature measurement. Exhibitors and visitors received certified free medical masks, and communication routes and the entire infrastructure met the highest requirements and standards imposed by medical and sanitary institutions in our country. The entire area in the halls, as well as all rooms, were disinfected on an ongoing basis.

The next meeting of the Programme Board is scheduled for March 23, 2021.
